Our recent Estyn report said 'by the end of key stage 2, pupils (in St Mellons CIW Primary) perform better in English, mathematics and science than in similar schools.... There is a wide range of stimulating learning experiences, that meet pupils’ needs very successfully....There is a strong supportive ethos where everyone is valued....Our Gwella report said 'highly effective and mutually supportive relationships with parents and across the school community contribute to the sense of family'........pupils’ high standard of behaviour and the excellent interpersonal relationships between the staff and the children, promote good teaching and learning, and a sense of shared vision..
