Pupil Voice

All pupils in our school from Year 2 to Year 6 have the opportunity to belong to one of our Pupil Voice Committees.  

Committees meet every 2 weeks to work on the action plan that they have written.  It contains steps to achieve their goals to improve and develop various aspects of our school.

All pupils are voted onto the committee by their peers.

Rights Respecting Schools Committee

Our RRS committee are passion about raising the awareness of Children's Rights. Their main focus will be helping the school gain the RRS Silver Award. They are also working with St Davids and All Saints schools on improving attendance.

 

 Friends of Faith Team

Friends of Faith

Our Friends of Faith group are dedicated to promoting an awareness of the values within our school. They are hoping to improve pupil understanding of the units of Understanding Christianity. Their first job will be to complete the painting for the remaining unit in the hall display. Friends of Faith will be monitoring worship within the school and feeding back their findings. They will be supporting in the delivery of introduction to faith days in school which will raise awareness of different aspects of world faiths ,promoting an understanding and respect for different beliefs.

 

 Digital Leaders

 Hi everyone! We’re the Digital Leaders and our job is to help you with anything ICT-related. Whether it’s logging in, using devices, or exploring our cool apps, we’re here to support you. We’re also working hard to get more coding equipment so everyone can enjoy learning to code and creating amazing things. If you ever need help or have ideas, come and chat with us. we’re always happy to help!

 

Healthy Heroes

 Our Healthy Heroes are a dedicated pupil voice group on a mission to promote healthy eating and drinking across the school. Each week, they will visit classrooms to record how many children have brought a healthy snack and a water bottle. Pupils will earn 2 points for bringing water in their bottle and 1 point for a healthy snack. The class with the highest score at the end of the week will win extra playtime on Friday! Let’s work together to stay healthy and hydrated!

Eco Committee

 Our Eco Committee members are passion about making our World a better place. One of their main roles is as our WOW Ambassadors, who support us with our walking to school committment to ensure our local school area is safer and promotes cleaner air. They are also committed to ensuring we are recycling correctly in school as well as organising litter picking around the school grounds and getting involved in the local community with their litter picks.

Criw Cymraeg

 
Criw Cymraeg's role is to promote the Welsh language for all children and staff in our school! They come together to share ideas on how to improve Welsh and help everyone use it more often. A big part of their mission is discussing how to achieve our bronze Siarter Iath award, making sure our school is a fun and welcoming place for everyone to enjoy speaking Welsh!
